Teeth!!!!

So yesterday morning, I asked Koleton to let me see his teeth, I rubbed my finger across his gums and lo and behold there they were!!! His two bottom teeth finally broke through his gums! You can't see them from the front yet, but if he opens his mouth, you push his tongue and some of the drool out of the way (haha) you can see the tops of them :) We were so excited!!!  He hasn't really been fussy, still sleeps through the night, no fever that was noticable.  Needless to say I feel very blessed to have such a GOOD baby :)  Last night at bedtime he didn't want to go to sleep and kept putting his finger in his mouth so I rubbed some Orajel on his little tooth nubs ;) and gave him some tylenol (this was after an hour of him tossing and turning in my arms so I figured they were probably bothering him since this is not the norm for him) and he was out within 15 minutes and didn't wake up until 630 this morning :) 

This kid cannot wait to eat real food!!! When Brad and I are having dinner, no matter where he is, Koleton will start fussing til Brad or I go pick him up.  As soon as he hits our laps he is lunging for our plates!!! lol  We have given him little pieces of tortilla and green beans so far.  I dont want to upset his little tummy and he doesn't really eat it yet.  We put it on his tongue, he makes this "Gross! What is this?!?!?! Oh wait, its pretty good" face everytime, moves whatever it is around his mouth and eventually just drools it out lol Every now and then he'll swallow a piece but I dont think it is enough to hurt him.  It is pretty cute :)

We have a big day planned today... shopping and maybe the park :D Will post how it goes and of course anything eventful I will post on here!

Crawling!!! Well... almost ;)

Boy does he ever want it! lol Put a toy in front of him and he starts trying to get closer! I've been holding him up with my hand under his tummy and his little legs start trying to push himself forward :) He's not quite sure how it all works yet...and his arms aren't quite strong enough to support his gigantic head ;) yet lol When he tries to get it on his own, he just ends up rolling over because he tries to push forward with his foot but just ends up pushing up and then over.  I have no doubt he will be a very mobile baby soon!

No teeth yet.... may take more than a week but they are right there! So many milestones so quickly! Once he gets them anyway ;)

Just another day... :)

Well I'd have to say that today was just an average day for us here.  Koleton and I went to Wally World to get some stuff we needed around the house and then we just played at home :)  He played with his shape blocks but really  just wanted me to keep dumping the bucket into his lap lol We got him a spinning race car thing that you drop the cars in on a ramp and they go into this whirlpool spinning thing and come out on the "finish line" for Christmas.  He would just watch the cars go round and round, sometimes putting his hand in the middle trying to catch the cars (but really he likes to stop the middle from spinning lol goofy kid!).  Finally today he would take the cars in his hand at the top of the ramp and let them go...technically correctly playing with the toy! It was cute :)

OH and I bet he has his two bottom teeth within a week! Of course I've never done this before but just under his gums you can feel each tooth raised up! And anything and everything goes in his mouth! Luckily he, knock on wood, is not being a bad teether!  He hasn't been overly grumpy, he has been sleeping at night. I swear we got so lucky with this kid! :)

Well, sorry today wasn't too exciting lol Maybe tomorrow something more will happen ;)

Koleton's first Christmas

Though we couldn't make it back to Arizona for Christmas, I think Koleton's first Christmas went alright :) To start, he didn't get up after we put him to bed on Christmas Eve, then when he woke up at 5am for his bottle, I layed him back in his bed after he was done and he put himself back to sleep for the first time! Merry Christmas to mommy and daddy! lol  When we woke up he had breakfast then he got to open his presents.  He was pulling on the paper "unwrapping" them himself (really he was just trying to eat the paper!).  After Brad and I had breakfast we got ready to head to Brad's parents house.  Halfway there we realized we forgot the presents, ugh! We managed to get there just in time for "dinner".  It takes a lot of packing to go spend the day away from home with a baby! lol After dinner we all just hung out and played dominos :)  Was a fun day! Koleton seemed to enjoy himself, and he was such a big boy eating mashed potatoes for the first time (just little bites ;) ) lol We came home, gave Kole his bath and he went to bed.  Man that kid is such a good kid, and growing so quickly! We love him to pieces and can't wait for the rest of the family to meet him, I'm sure you all will just adore him! Pictures are up on Facebook, and videos are on Youtube!
