6 month appointment!

Well yesterday Koleton had to go to the doctor for his 6 month "check up".  Poor baby had to get 3 shots :(  He did so well with it though!  He cried for the shots and a little afterwards, but I gave him some juice and after I put his pants back on him and picked him up he pretty much stopped crying!  Such a big boy!  He officially weighs 16lbs 6oz and is 26" long!  The nurse said he was a tall boy.  I think he is still around the 25th percentile for his age but I think she meant for his weight he is tall? I dont know but he is perfect to us! lol He was kind of grumpy after his shots but he also was on regular dosing of Tylenol and he is always a little weird when he is "doped up" lol  We had such a busy weekend and with the doctor experience yesterday we just stayed in today and hung out around the house.  I clipped some coupons (yes coupons!) and Koleton and I read a book and played in his room for a bit.  Overall it was a good day!  Tomorrow it looks like we are heading to the mall for a miniature playdate :)  A girl from my mommy group asked if I wanted to go with her and her son and just get out of the house... it should be fun!  I am hoping that by getting out more and being around people Koleton will lose his "shyness" and start opening up to more people.  I think he will be the kid that will sit back and watch how and what everyone else is doing before he just jumps into everything.  Even still, I want him to be warm and kind to people!  Like my family and friends back home that he has yet to meet (soon I promise!!!) Even if he is weary, hopefully he wont be so shy all the time.  I think these playdates will help with that :)  I still have to set one up with a mom who has a son a month or so older than Koleton and let him "play" with someone his age! Should be lots of fun :)

What's this? I'm 6 months old now? I didn't sign up for this!
